Adam McGurk’s first half strike was enough to see off Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup at a cold and windy Fratton Park.

The third round draw will be held on Monday 7th December at 7pm on BBC2. Pompey will be ball number 48.

Assistant Manager, Leam Richardson said post-match:

“Personally I’d like a game against Leeds because they’re my hometown club.

I know the manager would like to draw Liverpool and all the players will have their own thoughts about who they want.

But any tie in the third round of the FA Cup is special and we’ll look forward to playing whoever we get.”
